IVF program plan is drafted for each person individually depending on physiological characteristics of the patient’s body and application of the selected assisted reproductive technologies. The period of a patient’s stay in Yekaterinburg can vary from three weeks to two months.
For CFM patients we offer a partnership program on patient’s maintenance in the territory of the Russian Federation based on their preferences in accommodation and catering services. If required, we can organize excursion programs and shopping tours. If you prefer to choose accommodation independently, you can stay in hotels of Yekaterinburg or apartments available for rent via Airbnb service.
IVF program is available for women at the age of 40 and older if there are no contraindications to the procedure and ovarian reserve is still high (there are a good number of viable eggs in the ovaries). You should subscribe to a primary consultation with a fertility specialist to get a decision on IVF program applicability in your case.
Duration of cryostorage does not affect the quality of embryos. The efficiency of a cryotransfer can be compared to the efficiency of fresh transfers.
As a rule, flights taken during the gestation period or soon after an embryo transfer are considered to be non-hazardous. There are no proofs to the theory that air pressure fluctuations or a decrease in humidity can have any adverse health effect on you or your baby.
Despite the facts that none of the conducted experiments and control studies showed any adverse effect of the passenger screening equipment on a fetus and the radiation level of the screening equipment is minimal, we can understand the anxiety of expectant mothers. For your own peace of mind you may opt to undergo a manual search instead of mechanical screening procedure with a reference to the Order of the Ministry of Transport of Russia No.104 dated 25 July 2007. If you have decided to undergo a manual search, ask your CFM physician to give you an official document certifying the fact of your pregnancy.
After the embryo transfer procedure you may stay in your ward for 30 minutes for an emotional release, but bed rest is not obligatory as it does not have any influence on IVF efficiency and quality of carried out procedures.
